If you do manage to pull yourself away, your skis will be waiting for you in your ski locker and there is no danger of cold toes as your boots will be dry after a night on the boot dryers. You also have a separate drying room with a washing machine and dryer so you can keep your clothes warm and dry all week (even if you braved a white out the day before). The bus stop, providing free access to the Pléney, Super Morzine and Prodains Télécabines, is just a five minute walk from your door, and buses go every ten minutes meaning you’ll never be waiting for long. If you’re bringing your car, the chalet benefits from a huge double garage and 2 outdoor parking spaces. We also offer a free parking space in our private parking area opposite the tourist office for those trips to town where you just don’t feel like walking.

After a long day’s skiing, hop in the hot tub and sauna to ease those aching muscles, or book an at home-massage in the wellness area. If you’d rather just have a moment to yourself, stretch out on the bed-like sofa in the mezzanine living area, or read a book in front of the fire in the main lounge. If that’s all a bit too quiet, you can turn up the music on the Bose speaker or put on a film on any one of the several televisions located around the chalet.

When hunger strikes, the fully equipped, open plan kitchen and dining room will allow you to cook and serve a 10 course meal should you wish. Or, if that sounds too much like hard work, take a private chef and let them take care of you. All you need to do is take a bottle from the wine cave and relax. In the morning, you can enjoy breakfast with south facing views across the Pleney and Nyon mountains.

All that’s left is to go to sleep in one of the five en-suite bedrooms. Whether you choose the light and fluffy ‘cloud’ room, the sophisticated ‘blue tweed’ room, the stylish ‘black’ room, or the huge ‘vert de gris’ master, you are sure to find it hard getting up in the morning. Lastly there is a alpine dormitory style bunk room comprising of four full-sized single bunks, a large en-suite shower room, and even your own private living area with sofa, TV and Xbox One.

If you are one for a warmer climate, Chalet Sandjeman has numerous areas for you to soak up the sun, including the large sun drenched, south facing terrace off the kitchen/dining area. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner from here, and when the sun gets a bit too hot, just unwind the built-in parasol and take your sieste in the comfort of the shade. For those that can’t say summer without also saying grill, there is a BBQ for guests on the main terrace.
